Infinite ways to tell stories on film. Doc/Fest’s curated VOD programme of films from all over the world.
Sheffield Doc/Fest Selects offers a curated programme of films from all over the world, from our Official Selection 2020, across the following film strands: Into the World, Rebellions, Ghosts & Apparitions, Rhyme & Rhythm and the Exchange. Selects will run from 10 June until 10 July 2020. Some films may be added as we go along and films may be available only for a limited period of time. A new selection will be made available for Autumn 2020.
You can access films from our Sheffield Doc/Fest Selects programme in 4 ways:
Doc/Selector is our ‘view all you can’ option. All available films in the programme from June to July on one ticket.

Thanks to the generous support of Wellcome Trust all films in The Exchange programme can be accessed free of charge.
Most films are available from June 10 to 10 July at 23:59 with some exceptions. All films are subject to a 30 hour watch period which begins when you press play on your chosen film. You can pause your watching then start again within the 30 hour period. You can buy a film in advance and watch later from your Selects library, which can be found in the top right ‘Signed In As’ dropdown of any Selects page.
Similar to our physical festival, we expect some films will sell out. There are a limited number of views available for each film on Selects. Once a film sells out, it will no longer be possible for viewers to watch the film on Selects unless you are already in your watch period, had purchased it as a Doc/Single prior to the sell out or the film is part of a curated short film programme. If you purchase a Doc/Selector, Doc/Binge or strand ticket, films will be automatically removed from Your Library if and when they reach the maximum view limit.
