Dr. Jacobo Grinberg, a Mexican neurophysiologist, expanded the scientific study of consciousness and claimed to have demonstrated the first steps of telepathy. In 1994, at the climax of his career, he mysteriously disappeared. Was he really at the doorstep of a new form of science? Did this put him in danger?

The Secret of Dr. Grinberg is an investigative documentary which journeys through Mexico, the USA, India, Nepal and Spain. Experts, family and friends search for clues as to what really happened to one of the most enigmatic figures in recent Mexican history.
